Television moves into the schoolroom Manitoba experiment
Manitoba launches a provincial TV teaching experiment in February and March with six half hour programs broadcast to 34 of 42 districts across southern Manitoba. CBC Winnipeg CKX Brandon CBWT and CKW Brandon participate with studio space time and production staff. Programs cover chemistry biology physics art theatre natural science and are designed to enrich rather than replace teachers.
