Centennial Inter-Faith Service in Miniota Opens Centennial
An interfaith service at Miniota Community Centre on Sunday July 30 began the Centennial weekend. Rev. A M Watts, guest preacher, urged gratitude to God for 100 years, as Mrs. John Pilling and a combined choir led worship. An offering of 70.25 went to refugee aid in the Middle East. a basket picnic at Hoopers Lake followed for old acquaintances and visitors.
