Miniota Council met April 12 1961 in the Municipal Hall with all members present Reeve H S Hyndman presiding Minutes from March 6 1961 were adopted Secretary’s correspondence included items from Kent Construction Brandon and the Manitoba Good Roads Association The council heard on municipal road construction equipment procurement and heard from M Alfred Webb Beulah dinner visit followed by discussions with Pisseez and Graham construction firms about a contract for work basis

Mrs. W A Harron of Winnipeg visits Mrs. R B Edmundson at the B Medd home. Funeral services were held Wednesday for H Sawyer who died Sunday, burial in Birtle cemetery at 72. He leaves two daughters Edith Shepherd Beulah and Verna McCall Foxwarren, two sisters and two brothers Alf Beulah and Bert Winnipeg. Sympathies to Tukaluke family on their father’s death. funeral at Oakburn Wednesday. Dan Cooper died this morning. Ted Wakefield went to Winnipeg for medical care. W Forster and daughter Marlene visited the H E Forster home Sunday.
