Doings of the Death Angel John Scott Dies at 43
John Scott, prominent farmer eight miles southeast of Glenwood in Rawles township, died Saturday at 2:20 AM after a year and a half battle with cancer. Born December 19, 1864 in Morgan County Ohio, he moved with his parents to Mills County in 1881 and married Mary K E Pitzenberger in 1891. He leaves a wife, five children, four brothers, a sister, and many friends. funeral services were held Sunday at his home, with Rev. Peter Jacobs officiating and Odd Fellows involvement.
