Scaffold Collapse Injures Three at Mineola Area House

A 20 foot high scaffold collapsed at Henry Wasserman’s new Mineola area residence last Thursday afternoon. Three men fell and were injured but not seriously. Wasserman sprained his ankle, Jack Cobun of Silver City sprained his wrist, and Will Hall of Silver City clung to the roof edge until a ladder could rescue him. The fall was caused by a rotten board.

Birth of Avis Vena Yrubbell in Bartlett region

A daughter named Avis Vena Yrubbell was born Sept 2 to Mr. and Mrs. A B Yrubbell of the Glenwood area near Bartlett. The birth completes the fourth generation for five great grandparents Thos Cummings of Whiting Angeline Osborn of Glenwood Grandma Tubbell and Mr and Mrs Thos Powell of Bartlett, prompting communal joy.

New Edison Records At L and Robinson Store
