Aftermath of Pacific Junction Fire and relocations

The Pacific Junction fire forced the post office into Mrs. Jones property west of Dr. Bacon’s office instead of the Olson & Son store. Fire damage was limited, with most fixtures undisturbed, and operations moved quickly to the new site. Insurance covered Burgess and Bogle properties while Anderson Bros. adjusted losses and moved stock. Community members aided, with trials and local events noted, plus a highway notice affecting Mills County roads.
