Glenwood’s Busy Week Highlights Local Happenings

Glenwood residents welcomed visitors and marked events across the town. Reports note visits to Omaha and Manilla, high school basketball games at Greenlee hall, remodeling at W. C. Gilmore residence, and local civic and social gatherings.

Methodist Revival Meetings Announced for Sunday Night

The Rev A R Grant leads revival services with strong gospel preaching and Spirit demonstration. Attendance grows as several have found salvation. Next Sunday's schedule includes prayer at 10, sermon by Grant at 10:30, Sunday school at noon, men’s meeting at 3, junior league, Epworth League, evangelist service at 1:30 with song and sermon, and polite ushers will seat all welcome. Accident Befalls J Leeka at Glenwood Farm

Tribune reports J Leeka was struck by a falling limb while cutting wood on his Lyons township farm southwest of Glenwood. Initially not dangerous, his condition worsened and he has been unconscious most of the time since the accident, with fears of brain and spinal injuries.
