Attorney Carl Cook visited Malvern while Fred Huntsinger from Peaceville toured the county seat. Revs Jefferson and Byerly stayed with Pa Murphy. Hastings native Jesse Van Buskirk wed Glenwood. Mrs. James Sawyers and Mrs. Sherman Jones visited Glenwood, with various locals dropping by. Dr. T. A. Pearson returned from the Border to resume dentistry.
A British writer warns that grip influenza comes with chills fever aches and fatigue and urges immediate chiropractic adjustment at onset claiming patients wake without pain. The note emphasizes rapid response and daily adjustments by chiropractors as a remedy.
Mac and Mac called on Wednesday afternoon after handling the Detlef and Jackson sale. They say the sale went well due to good items and strong bidder turnout. A longtime subscriber from Adrian, Ma., M. Rice, praises The Tribune as reliable and keeps reading it like a letter from home. A postcard says Mr and Mrs John F. Sturgeon of Omaha are at Hot Springs Ark enjoying the waters and six inches of snow. The Tribune will mail to them there for an indefinite stay.

The next regular examination for uniform county certificates will be held at my office in Glenwood Town on Wednesday Thursday and Friday January 24 25 and 26 1917. Examination begins promptly at eight o clock Wednesday morning. Candidates are not required to write all branches at the first examination.
