Glenwood residents host visitors from Malvern Des Moines and Omaha and plan a big February 22 I O O F convention day with three hundred or more southwest Iowa citizens expected. Western visitors include Bernard Matthews in Des Moines and Dr R H Giltner from Omaha.

Local ads include sales of farm produce and livestock, real estate, rentals, trades, and notices for dinners, lunches, and thank you messages from residents of Glenwood and nearby areas in Iowa with contact phone numbers and names such as Homer Clipson, R. St John s Episcopal holds the Sixth Sunday after Epiphany with morning prayer and Litany at 10 30. Baptist church offers 10 20 morning worship, 12 Sunday school, 4 30 vesper, chorus and orchestra music, sermons by Rev A W Tandy, reception of new members, and baptism ordinance.
The Women’s Club invites members and their husbands to a mid winter social on Monday evening February 14 at the home of Mrs. Charles Cheyney.
A group of young married residents visited Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Van Pelt northeast of town on Wednesday evening. The social included refreshments and a merry bob sled theme. Attendees were Walter Marshall, H. Marshall, James Miller, CG. T. Deupree, HB. A. Davis, Mrs. Ralph Vinton and son Gordon.

Mrs Henry Detief of Mineola visited from Wednesday to late week at the home of Mrs Ferdinand Detief. Mrs F H Priest of Hastings visited Thursday with her sister Mrs James Sawyers. Neighbors who read the Tribune rely on our paper for news and advertising.
