Prehistoric Mummies Found in Cave Near Texas Border

George Wold of Waco while hunting near Paso county along the Texas New Mexico line discovered a cave that appears to be a natural burial site of ancient people. The cave shows signs it was carved by hand with possible hieroglyphics. Seven mummified bodies were found, including a female, with relics taken by Wold. The site is said to hold evidence of a once noble lineage and ancient graves, exposed after a rock collapse revealed the grotto two years ago.
