The north side restaurant and bakery sold from Elkins and Miller to Will B. Rhoades and his brother E A Rhoades, both well known locals. Jims Miller and Bringhave will stay in Glenwood. T Q Records sold the Wickham two story brick to W H Cowgill and W C Lyle of Omaha with land as part payment. O W Marsh will move his drug stock to the lower block next week. Mills County Abstract Co. stays at their current rear location pending new quarters. John McCluskey plans a drug stock once Marsh leaves. Glenwood will have five drug stores.

The Queen Mills domino club met Monday evening with Ted and Olive Sivers on the east edge of Glenwood. The enchre club is entertained tonight by Mr and Mrs Henry Evernham and Mr and Mrs Seth Laraway at the Commercial hotel. Mrs Clyde Rhoads hosts a series of Kensingtons Wednesday Thursday and Saturday. Mrs Fay Wright enjoyed a farewell gathering from neighbors as she heads to the Wright farm south of Glenwood for the summer. John and Jessie will drive to and from school for the remainder of term.

Nearly a Ton of Butter Made On Farm
W H Morgan of three miles south of Glenwood nearly hit a ton of butter in the year ending April 1. He sold butter at 20 to 25 cents per pound, totaling about 1926 pounds and over $100 in revenue. He milks about ten cows year round, illustrating butter making as a profitable farm side line.

Centenarian Lucretia Frederick Dies in Gallatin
Nearly 102 years old Lucretia Frederick died in Gallatin after a serious illness. Her daughter in Glenwood, Mrs. Wilzabeth Wiley, and Mrs. T. G. Byers traveled there for the sickness and returned home this week. Frederick had spent about four months in Glenwood three years prior and is remembered by many readers.
