Man Named Wm Nairn Swindles At Seymour Farm
A man calling himself Wm Nairn visited the Allan farm near Seymour and claimed to have bought it. He sold farm wood to nearby farmers, taking notes totaling 487 dollars which he discounted. Dr. Allan of Toronto warned buyers not to trespass after noticing the fraud. Nairn had reportedly negotiated to buy the farm and signed an agreement.
