Funeral is Held at Beaver for James Boyter Milford
Funeral services were held Monday at the Beaver west ward L. S. chapel for James Boyter 79 who died suddenly of heart trouble Friday at the home of his daughter Mrs William E Fernley in Caliente. Burial rites were conducted under Albert Pike Masonic lodge Milford. He was a longtime Milford resident and a mason of 58 years. He survived by his widow and children H K Boyter Mrs Hugh Cartwright Mrs William E Fernley E D Crandell and Robert Boyter.

Milford music group under Mr. Hand presents a concert with a 65 voice mixed chorus 38 piece orchestra and 40 piece band plus quartets and solos. Gold Brick Sheds Light on Milford District Ore Riches
A Milford area gold brick weighing two pounds eight ounces, valued around 508 dollars, was found as part of the Osceola Mining and Milling operation. The Osceola group, led by F. L. Osborne and L. G. Williams, uses leased Marriott estate diggings near Osceola about 109 miles west of Milford. They plan a 26 ton mill to accelerate ore processing as a shaft reaches 160 feet with ample milling ore on the dump. April 28 saw W. F. Sterling and Mrs. Sterling arrive for James Boyter's funeral and remember veterans of the Heather club tied to Scottish ideals.

Milford Golf Club nearly finishes nine hole course
President W T Morley and Sam Hickman of Milford Golf Club organized a rapid build from a barren sand flat. The nine hole course east of town is nearly complete with fairways to clear greens painted and markers numbered.
