Judicial District Meet May Be Here in Milford
Delegates to the Fifth Judicial District Republican convention were invited to meet in Milford on July 20. County chairman George Jefferson sent the invitation to Dennis Woods of Nephi. Delegates likely will be apportioned by votes for Judge Burton in the last election. The district includes Juab Millard Beaver Lion and Washington counties. Ray Mills and Bob Holmes returned Thursday from a short visit to Salt Lake.

Milford man Dewey Neilson dies in Beaver Canyon crash
Dewey Neilson, a well known Milford man, died after a car toppled from a ledge near Telluride Power Plant during a fishing trip. Two companions survived with injuries. Neilson succumbed to internal injuries early Friday. Funeral services were held at the L D S Chapel with Bishop Bird in charge.

Lions Club Dance Nets Band About One Hundred Dollars
The Lions Club committee and band members report a profit of about 100 dollars from a recent dance. Ticket sales were weak before the event, with about 50 dollars sold and 118 dollars collected at the dance. Funds will help defray band uniforms, not fully funded yet, with coats postponed until later. Uniforms will be white with black trim.
