Minersville Woman Wins a Gold Medal in State Contest

Bath Chapter No. 6 of Eastern Star installed officers on Monday evening December 13 with Mrs Frances Gill of Mt Pleasant presiding. High School Fete a Big Success in Milford Fundraiser

The Milford High School fete last Friday capped a two night drive to raise funds for the yearbook. Junior and Senior classes presented acts and stunts with strong performances. Carnival king Douglas Moore and queen Katharine Potheringham led the celebration while Joy Boys minstrel and a Freshmen burlesque drew cheers.

Delegation of Fifty Tours to Caliente in special car

A group of about 50 Odd Fellows and Rebekahs traveled in a Challenger attached rail car to Caliente last Saturday afternoon after a month in Milford custody. They spent the night with a program, banquet and dance, then returned to Milford Sunday. The Keystone Traveler, started May 22, 1924 by Keystone lodge No. 78 I O O F of Bethlehem, carries lodges on tour and invites inscriptions on blank pages. Local contributions included a Union Pacific Streamliner scene with Mineral range backdrop and an oak-bordered panel by the Ould Fellows, both by Miss Marie Carlson.
