Hubbell of Milford is the new member of Beaver county's board of commissioners to fill the unexpired term of R. E. Ellingsworth who resigned to move to Reno Nevada. The appointment was made Tuesday and Hubbell began duties immediately, with supporters predicting energetic and conscientious service for the county.

Reunion for Gunn Munford descendants in Parowan
A family reunion and organization of the descendants of the late Thomas and Elisabeth Gunn Munford was held in Parowan on Thanksgiving Day. Attendees included George Livehfield, Otta Molcher and family, Leonard Muir, Loyle Huddleston and families, plus members from Cedar City and Parowan, with two children among the attendees and twenty five great grandchildren of the honored couple.

The Mutual Improvement Association road show presented Tuesday in Milford with local acts from Milford, Minersville, and Beaver wards. The Milford act featured a musical fantasy directed by Mrs. Bruce Walton and performed by Sam Miller, Emum Patterson, and a chorus. Minersville offered a Lazy Bones inspired act and Beaver showcased skits and a hospital piece. The Milford American Legion Auxiliary met with fourteen members for bridge, and Milford mourns the death in Los Angeles of J. Cline, a long-time merchant, with his sons Sam and Harold Cline among surviving heirs.

Thanksgiving Assembly Observed at High School
On Wednesday afternoon at 3 15 students filled the auditorium to observe Thanksgiving. The program opened with a song, a piano solo by Sarah Cuddy, a toe dance by Marie Angell, and a musical reading by Ina Smith. Mr Rue Nielson spoke on Thanksgiving as a leading citizen. Radio Man 15 Transfers From Milford to Tucson
