Materials for roofs are arriving slowly while 14 buildings will form the camp with offices and grazing division quarters. Sunday Rain Brings Mil ford Rain After Dry Spell
A two month dry period ended Sunday as Milford received 1.30 inches of rain with a later drizzle on Monday of .01 inch according to Charles E. Beard, meeting curb flow but avoiding flood damage unlike past floods in 1934. The July heat peaked at 101 degrees on July 14, with 100 degrees on July 15.

Minersville Ag Club Shows Steady Growth and Parade Honors
The Minersville Ag Club with 28 members formed last spring has raised gardens and entered a float in the Pioneer Day parade, winning third prize of 2. Jeff Marshall, a club member, suffered a skull fracture on July 20 while petting a horse but is recovering at Milford Hospital and home. Officers include Keith Albrecht president Ward Thompson vice president Keith Hollingshead secretary Jimmy Sherwood reporter Val Marshall and others. Oliver Graff leads the group as Mrs. Graff welcomes a baby girl born July 22.

John William Weidner aged 26 died instantly when attempting to re connect a 6600 volt line to his father’s farm. Wet pole conditions from heavy rain likely caused the accident. Survived by widow Golda Sunbach, parents, and many siblings. funeral held at the L D S chapel with church officials and neighbors officiating. Burial in local cemetery.

Koch Family Begins Six Week Indiana Family Tour
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Koch and daughter Rosalie left Saturday for Richfield to be joined by another daughter Lucilla for a six weeks trip to the former homes of the Kochs in Indiana. It is their first visit since marriage 25 years ago and the journey promises an unusually enjoyable time.

Fisherman Breaks Arm In Beaver Canyon Fall
Willis Whitbeck suffered bad breaks in the wrist and elbow of his left arm while fishing in Beaver canyon on Sunday. He climbed a tree to disentangle his line when a branch broke, forcing him to refrain from attending to friends for several weeks.

Power Stop Costly To Lincoln Mine
Lightning damaged power supply at the Lincoln mine causing two hours of outage and water rise in the shaft. Flooding disabled 60 and 40 horsepower motors, delaying ore extraction by about two weeks. Workers stayed on site with outside jobs. one motor being overhauled in Salt Lake, another replaced in Los Angeles. The mine, long plagued by water, gains new momentum under Lincoln Mining Company leadership and funding.
