Village funds eyed for bank investment and drainage plans
The board discussed placing $70,000 for the village hall in a bank at around a seven percent rate. Robbery attempt at Markham Royal Blue Store ends thwarted
On a Saturday night at the Markham Royal Blue store owned by Peter Kuper a rear window was found jammed and a burglar latch loosened but entry could not be gained. Thieves began removing molding around the rear window but were frightened off before breaking in.
