Death of Miss Murry at Star Tannery
Miss Susan Murry daughter of the late Daniel and Sarah L. Murry died at her Star Tannery home on Friday December 13 at age 26 years 3 months 28 days after a 10 day illness from blood poisoning. Survived by her mother Mrs. Thomas Sager sister Mrs. Milton White brother John Murry four half brothers and two half sisters. A member of the Baptist church of Winchester interment in Winchester cemetery. She was a devout family figure and her death brings much sorrow to relatives and friends. Dr William Love Dies Suddenly In Winchester
Dr William 8 Love a prominent Winchester physician died suddenly after a day visiting patients and a social call from Dr E C Stuart. His death followed a climb to his second floor room where his weak heart failed. He was 76, born in Armagh Ireland, trained at Virginia and Pennsylvania, Civil War surgeon, active in civic life, survived by wife three daughters siblings and seven grandchildren. Funeral held at Presbyterian church with Masons burial in Mt Hebron. Local obituaries note his long service and esteem in Winchester.
