Horowitz and Benstein, both from New York, were arrested by Recorder Howard M. Starr on North Street. Horowitz paid a $2 fine and Benstein paid $15 after being cited for speeding more than 3 percent over the limit.
Tyrrell and Kinnear lead with a bid of 4 322 as bids opened today from Giles, Giles Campaigns at 4 575 and Crosby at 4 50 and McQuade at 5 140 and Nielsen and Dhiller at 4 240 for the Arsus building alterations with five bidders.
A collision occurred on King Street when a Bloomingbore Ford driven by wlew, and a Reo truck driven by Miles Sweeney loaded with soda water bottles, collided in front of Tum Press building. Sweeney’s truck sustained a damaged mud-guard. Varninwegen’s car escaped damage as his vehicle crashed into the rear of the truck while backing. Spectators gathered at the scene.
Strawberries again center the public market sale as farmers band together with night-to-morning planning to price produce below seasonal levels. Supervisor George C Robinson said growers will group items by variety with definite bargain prices and maintain high quality stock. Multiple rigs will offer collections of fruit and vegetables at reduced rates to help shoppers. This morning’s market featured two strawberry displays and emphasized inner stocks kept full.
Rumors spread of the assassination of premier Hussien Beolshevini in Ringhamton near Septch as a car crash allegedly killed him and his wife Welan and Richard Deniex. The incident described as a vehicle skid with drivers applying brakes.

James Palmer was convicted Wednesday of stealing a suit valued at 11 dollars from James Thorpe. The jury found Palmer had contracted to buy the suit for 2.59 but allegedly took it, and he was sentenced to 36 days in the county jail. Howard Starr testified, and Palmer claimed Thorpe sold him the garment for 2.59 before the theft.
In Batavia New York a bomb torn through the two story dwelling of Carl Trimarchi a restaurant keeper killing three and injuring four. The dead are Joseph Battagli and his wife and their two year old son tenants on the top floor. The injured include Mr and Mrs Trimarchi and their two sons believed victims of blackhand letters received recently.
