Bowler Golden Wedding Observance Planned at Union Course
Alfred M Bowler and his wife Mrs Bowler of 40 Monhagen Avenue will celebrate their golden wedding this week. They wed September 17 1887 in Yonkers and moved to Middletown in 1869. He worked 42 years in local hat shops and served as Grace Episcopal Church sexton for 11 years. The couple, in their late 70s, have three children Alfred Jr George W and Mrs Sault near Union Course.
