Fifty children from the Webb Hurter Memorial primary department plus teachers and officers enjoyed an auto trip to Goshen Tuesday afternoon. Cars loaned by congregation members waited at the church at 3 36. After an hour’s ride they were entertained at the home of Mr and Mrs Wm E L Seymour on the Minisink Row with refreshments. Rev Dr Wight, Mrs W A Hartin, Mrs John Amstaldn and Mrs J A Stitt led the chaperones.

Dairy League Sets Milk Price for Middletown Territory
The Dairymen's League fixed a milk price of 1.87 per quart for Middletown territory after the Federal Milk Commission did not set June prices. Dealers largely accepted the rate. several major firms withdrew from Milk Commission control on May 1, leading the League to establish a sale price of 2.53 for May and 1.47 for June.

Trespassers Fined In Police Court
Two men paid fines of one dollar each in police court today for trespassing on railroad property. Bott and another man were arrested by Special Officer Kelly of the O. & W. police. The law prohibits trespassing on railroad rights of way and is being rigorously enforced to prevent accidents and protect rail property.

Readers learn definite news that members of the original First New York Regiment, now part of the 27th Division, have arrived in France. Troops from Middletown and nearby towns, including Muhlenberg and Walton, were among those in the deployment after training at Camp Wadsworth and Camp Stuart, Virginia. Port Jervis baseball hosts Middies at Hayes Field on Saturday afternoon drawing a large crowd to defray costs. Chari E Greasen, Middletown physical director, urged support from residents, noting 25 cents per six months for association members and 15 cents admission for members, 25 cents for non members.
