Margaret McKiernan aged 25 of 62 Men Haston Avenue attempted suicide by self immolation in fields near Horton Avenue at 5 45 AM. Two railroad workers extinguished the flames. She was taken to Linark Hospital in critical condition with severe burns and ill health noted. A statement signed in hospital says she acted to end her life without blaming others.
