Wreck devastates Hagenback-Wallace show trains
A Michigan Central rear-end collision near Hammond Indiana wrecked four circus cars killing and injuring many people. More than fifty dead and seventy five injured were feared with horses also lost. Enlisted at 16 Port Jervis Boy Among Wounded
Private Harry De Mott, 16, wounded in action with the Marines in France on June 6, lived with his father in Port Jervis and enlisted soon after the United States declared war. His emergency address was 21 Hamilton Avenue Morris Park L I. His father James De Mott was killed in a railroad accident last December.
