German Pirates Sink Two More Ships in Atlantic

Liberty Soldier Killed In Action Reported In Today’s Dispatch
Washington June 13 Private Harry Jones aged about 22 from Monroe is severely wounded and Private W Lockwood of Liberty reported killed in action. Dispatches to the Times-Press from Washington DC say Jones worked six months for Mrs John McGimpsey at the Oakland House before enlisting after the war began. Mrs McGimpsey received War Department telegrams matching the Times-Press notices. In Liberty, Mr and Mrs A Lockwood refused to comment. they have no telephone.
