Blaze breaks up an evening meal in boarding house fire
Fire of unknown origin caused $5,060 damage at 3 PM in Tom enico Scorparo’s boarding house at 16 Cottage street. Guests were dining when flames erupted. crews from box 14 and several city fire companies fought the blaze, which confined to the front attic and caused extensive water and flame damage to the four story frame building. Two years earlier the site suffered a major fire.
