Nominations Held Illegal In Middletown Fire Dept
Middletown Corporation Counsel John Bright ruled Saturday night’s nominating convention for the Fire Department invalid on two counts. He advised a new meeting be held to properly nominate a Chief and three engineers, after noting multiple nominees and a flawed chair ruling. The 1216 convention at Eagles track house on King Street adjourned with the date for a new session and the Engineer Board election set for tonight.
