Counter Attack on Huns Continues In German Front
Reports from the Amiens front say French forces struck and repelled three German counterattacks. French units reportedly recaptured Longpont Corer and Troesnes as Gen. Foch’s reserves punctured the German advance in three spots. Kaiser William near Rheims observed the fighting and received battlefield reports as German official statements differed from Allied claims. An alleged Franco American depot near Fere-en-Tardenois is viewed by army men as a likely French depot used by Allied troops, not a major base shipment from the United States.
