George Thompson a Pine Bush barber, formerly of New Paltz, killed himself with a razor after days of odd behavior. He died en route to St Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. Survived by wife, a son and a daughter. Funeral set for Tuesday at the Methodist Church.

Captain Ballman Home After Strenuous Service
Captain Jacob S. Ballman of the army of occupation arrived in New York aboard the Harrisburg after a Brest departure February 5. He traveled with the 32d Division and 10 officers, noting delays from a storm. Divorce Granted Mrs Kathleen Horton in Newburgh Case
In Newburgh on February 17 Justice A He Fileeger granted an interlocutory divorce to Kathleen L Horton against her husband Aired M Horton after a one sided trial. Custody of their year old Eva Margaret Horton is awarded to Mrs Horton with the defendant ordered to pay 52 per week for child support. Evidence shows the couple married in 1906 and lived in Middletown with Horton later working in Springfield and New York. Detective Povello testified to Horton's movements and an alleged hotel liaison.
