The 27th Division, including Company I of Middletown, will not return home soon as previously hoped. Some Middletown boys may sail soon and sick and wounded in English hospitals will be sent home when ready. Gen. March listed units due to embark and the demobilization plan, with crews expected to return by late December or January.

Jersey City Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident
Jersey City resident Frank Scanlon was seriously injured when his motorcycle struck a dog on the Montgomery Goshen State road near James Mowbray’s home. He was speeding to make up time after a Thanksgiving visit to Schenectady. he was unconscious and feared to be internally hurt. An ambulance was sent from St. Luke's Hospital Newburgh. Also noted is a Wallkill division meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary, O. B. C., at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Macshe Hall for installation of officers.
