Obscenity Charges Returned in Cincinnati Film Case
In Cincinnati, obscenity charges against Malibu Inc. operator of the Guild Theater were sent back to Hamilton County Common Pleas Court from the U S District Court. Judge Davis S Porter ruled no federal civil rights questions existed and ordered the film returned to Malibu Inc. The charges were filed by Charles Keating, founder of Citizens for Decent Literature.
