Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson denounces forces of intolerance racism and bigotry as threats to free societies. He urges action from the goodness of man’s heart during the 1963 Human Relations Award dinner in Cleveland where Dean Rusk presents the award to Pearson.
Cincinnati police issued one citation while county detectives tagged four more and Evendale officers cited workers at three stores. The arrests are part of a new drive announced last week to enforce Sunday closing laws.
