Four City Break-ins Burglars Hit Grill and Stores
Detectives updated after a spate of break-ins across the city last night targeting Son's Grill at 1906 Central Ave and a mobile store. Cash from the grill safe totaled about 190 dollars with further losses including currency, change, and candy bars. A government-like intruder scene suggested an inside lock pried from the men’s room. A second incident involved a storefront and a coal company with a broken window, a roll of cash and a blue slide rule taken. A home on Carolina Street was entered with nothing reported missing.
