Teens explore drugs and alcohol through psychodrama seminar

Senior Lynn Love and junior Drew MecCartt spent a week at Dennison University in Granville Ohio attending a Kiwanis sponsored seminar on teen substance use. The program used psychsocial drama with skits to place participants in drinking and drug use scenarios. They concluded teens feel the need to experiment because it is the in thing. Drew notes drug use in Middletown is a bigger problem than believed. Lynn says community involvement raises awareness and that the problem can be solved if there is concern.
