Glassed calf birthing room eyed for Ohio State Fair
Ohio State Fair Manager Victor Lucas says a glassed-in delivery room for calves may be built as part of a new 5 million dollar dairy and horse barn at the fairgrounds. Bids will be sought Oct 17 and opened Nov 15. The barn replaces barns lost in a 4 million dollar fire last October and complements a 1.2 million dollar swine barn nearing completion.
