Middfest 78 carnival rides move to city parking lot
Water Refining Co park ing lot near Verity and Broad will be available as regular designated parking at Smith Park. Explorer and Boy Scout troops will help direct parking. Shuttle runs noon to 6 on Saturday and Sunday from Verity Parkway to First Avenue Main Street the plaza Smith Park and back. Carnival rides open tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the south parking lot of the City Building after ground conditions forced a move from Columbia and Main.
