Six Ohio districts including Cleveland and Dayton face walkouts as principals and teachers strike over raises. Starting pay for teachers is about 9,100 dollars with a top at 18,650. union seeks a 20 percent boost costing roughly 24 million. Dayton and other districts consider back-to-work orders as negotiations stall. In Tallmadge Buckeye Local Logan Shawnee and Marion districts, disputes persist or settle, with Marion approving a three year pact increasing salaries immediately by 200 dollars and later to 10,500.

Four Teens Dead As Car Plows Into Party Crowd
