Probe widens into probation officer overtime at Warren County
A county probe into sexual harassment complaints extends to why Libbie Gerondale, a female probation officer reporting to Judge Dallas Powers, was paid 407 hours of overtime this year. Three co workers totaled 81 overtime hours through Aug. 27 as the $20,000 probation overtime budget nears $11,228 spent by Aug. 31. County records show Gerondale’s base pay at 15.75 per hour, with no explanations given for the large overtime. Authorities recruited Adams County Prosecutor David Kelley to investigate.
