Inmate charged in hatchet murder on first weekend pass
Wesley Meininger 39, serving 5 to 7 years for manslaughter, is held without bail on a charge of killing John J. Lenihan 66 with a hatchet during his first weekend pass from Jones State Prison Farm near Trenton. Lenihan was found dead in his Trenton apartment. Meininger had worked at the governor's mansion in Princeton earlier this summer.
