Three Sorg veterans promoted at Sorg Co
Promotions announced by Carl H. Eisenmendher vice president of operations at Sorg Pa per Co feature three longtime employees. Robert G. Shane named assistant general superintendent of papermaking James A. Harrison promoted from tour foreman to superintendent of No 2 mill Thomas H. Phillips advanced from machine tender to tour foreman of No 2 mill. Shane will oversee operations of Mills No 1 2 and 3 through their superintendents. All three have long service records with Shane since 1935 Harrison since 1943 and Phillips since 1937
