Disillusioned Voters Could Keep Millions From Polls
An AP report from Washington says a Hart poll finds a majority of voting age Americans may skip the presidential election due to disillusionment with leaders. More than 10 million past voters likely won’t vote, while another group under 35 has never voted regularly. The survey suggests turnout could dip below 50 percent for the first time since 1924, with about 87 percent of nonvoters seeking trusted, courageous leaders. Approximately 10 million nonvoters might still be persuaded to vote in November.

Last Day Monday at Ohio State Fair Faces Crowds

States borrow trailers from federal government for prisons
Ten states facing crowding in their prisons will receive hundreds of house trailers loaned by the federal government. The Law Enforcement Assistance Administration says 475 trailers worth 2.3 million dollars were obtained after HUD declared them surplus.
