Harold Lainhart Seeks Road Repair and Zoning Clarifications

City officials discussed annexation zoning safeguards in R-3 zones and the need for accompanying zoning provisions to avoid a legal vacuum. A pole barn on city land was deemed a permitted municipal use in A-3 zoning. Street repairs were delayed due to sewer line work, with a plan for possible chemical stabilization through a joint effort with Butler County. Council also addressed sewer payments totaling 440000 and reported damage claims from construction. The Bicentennial plan drew critique, while local youth Mark Atkinson received a city key and praise from the mayor. The next council meeting was moved to Sept 25.
