Monroe Woman Foils Kidnap Attempt After Gas Station Robbery
Barbara Frentzel 40 of Greentree Road escaped a kidnapping and two gun attempts during a $200 robbery at Holmes Sunoco Service on Ohio 63 and Interstate 75. The suspect, armed with a .38 revolver and driving a green Chevrolet pickup, remains at large with a statewide bulletin issued. Police identified the man from mug files. Frentzel aided by fleeing to Oneida area and hiding in weeds before the car was found abandoned on Waneta Avenue.
