A former Middletown man, Tom Hoskins, pleaded guilty to embezzlement and received a suspended $300 fine plus 90 days in county jail. He had taken $1,200 from Robo Car Wash on S Verity Parkway in Middletown on April 15 1968 and had paid back $775.85 in restitution.

Extradition Agreement for Nebraska Suspect in Middletown
A 28 year old Philadelphia Avenue man Stephen E Patrick signed extradition papers in the court of Acting Judge Vincent Sisson agreeing to extradition to Nebraska. Alonzo Smith of 3554 Cowotion Run Road told deputies yesterday that someone shattered a door glass on his car parked at home and stole a 12 volt battery valued at $19. About $15 in change was also taken from a soft drink machine at Miami Products Co. plant on South Street in Williamsdale.
