Pond Lick Reservoir Reclamation Moves Ahead

The Shawnee State Forest pond near Portsmouth will see fish reintroduction this fall after a toxic Endrin spill. State and federal agencies spent 100000 on remediation as 3500 aquatic life perished and dredging removed 6000 tons of contaminated silt. Water tests and a shutdown afloat followed by staged restocking are planned through 1973. A separate item reports Lawrence Fuller, 79, burned fatally at Sexton Oak Hills Cemetery in London Ohio.
