Civitan Club members gathered for a roundtable at noon Tuesday with multiple speakers sharing adventures and fishing stories. Thomas Portsmouth announced next week’s meeting will be at the Manchester Hotel and will be a monthly business session with no speaker scheduled.

Cleveland hosts three mobile entertainment units the Traveling Zoo Showagon and Story Trailside Museum. The Zoo tours playgrounds five days weekly with live talks and a petting pen drawing about 100000 visitors each summer. The Showagon offers five nightly shows and a 15000 square foot stage. The Trailside Museum travels to hospitals and schools with six habitat groups and seasonal displays. All were co sponsored by the Cleveland Press to bring culture to the underserved.

Dempster from the tire firm assists with posters showing a school patrol youth guiding a street crossing.
