Cincinnati couple sue in Butler County Common Pleas Court seeking 63109.13 in damages for injuries after their northbound station wagon was rear ended on I-75 north of Georgetown Kentucky on November 3 1968. Richard F Holmes seeks 13109.13 and Jane Ann Holmes 50000 from Johnny D Perdue of Middletown Ohio.
A study by Swedish researcher Prof. E. Ziegler reports men in Britain are becoming progressively obese. The research notes an astonishing parallel between rising sugar intake and weight gain among men aged 40 to 44 and 60 to 64.
Residents on Six Lamberton Street opposed zoning 22 acres along Lefferson Road for industry. Public hearings by the City Planning Commission failed to reach a quorum. Middletown planners backed light industrial use to buffer nearby homes from Armco Steel. Objectors named include Robert Gutshal and several Lamberton Street residents. The proposal was taken under advisement. Gas station, two stores and six offices request at Breiel Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue received no objections.
