Relative Newcomer Hard Campaigner Knocks on 5000 Doors

Butler County sees a rare female bid for county recorder as Mrs. Charles Blazer campaigns actively since the primary. She has logged 5000 doors with volunteers adding another 5000 in Lindenwald First Ward Oxford and Middletown precincts. Blazer credits teaching and record keeping for her qualifications and plans to learn from the incumbent after election. She recounts earlier campaign staff in 1966 and notes strong female volunteer support including her husband and two sons. Previous women recorders in 1924 and 1928 were Maye Morris and Lillian Kinzer, both Republicans.
