Boy Rescued After Three Hours In Eight Inch Pipe
Eight year old Bobby Gow was trapped for three hours in an eight inch cistern pipe near his Austin Texas home. Johnny Schnider shouted the alarm, fire crews and volunteers excavated, an oxygen line kept him alive, and at 2:48 pm rescuers reached him. Master mechanic M R Miller aided the release as Lt. Otto Ludwig took the boy to safety.
