A Citizens for Education Freedom poll of 256 Ohio General Assembly candidates shows 82.5 percent favor tuition aid for students at privately endowed colleges, with 57 percent of respondents supporting the plan. Organizers say most nonrespondents likely back the idea, as the Ohio Board of Regents proposes aid to reduce tax-supported classroom and dormitory needs.
